Spring Break is over and the final leg of the school year is here. Summer is just around the corner. Will your son or daughter be seeking a summer job? If so, help may be right under their nose.
With the click of a mouse or a tap of a tablet, they can connect to Comal ISD’s free Student Summer Job Fair website. Beginning tomorrow, April 1, students can browse this site to find local employers looking for local help. They can search for the right jobs – seasonal work or an internship -- and apply for them all in one place!
Our community partners in need of help will post jobs in the following categories:
- General Maintenance/Lawn Care
- Grocery
- Licensed Childcare/Tutor/Camp Counselor
- Office/Clerical/Administrative
- Restaurant/Food Service
- Retail Associate/Cashier/Sales
- Tourism/Recreation/Family Entertainment
This site will be available to students through Sunday, April 18. Students will apply directly to each business and its posted position.
Competition for summer jobs like these can be fierce. Don’t let your kids hesitate. Encourage them to check the site frequently, prepare a resume, and apply promptly for the jobs they’re interested in.
